The reason women come to me is because they say they have done all that they are supposed to do and are still not happy. They got an education, climbed the ladder, but they sometimes feel empty. They have ignored their spirit, inner voice and deepest desires.
Here’s the problem. Women work hard. Some get top flight educations but feel empty inside. Some stay in jobs they dislike for security, ignoring their sprit and inner voice.  Some lose track of their natural ways to fit into masculine business scenarios.Â
The only way that we can reach true success is when we allow our inner quiet wisdom and knowledge to guide us on a daily basis. The only way that we can truly receive this guidance is by listening. The only way we can truly listen is by having a way to connect with this guidance. For some this connection comes in the form of meditation, for others prayer. My way is through silence – deep silence in the early morning. Before my day begins I embark upon a quiet inner journey. I seek stillness and drop into the quietness. From this place, a sense of refreshment often arises. By the end of my quiet moments I often feel renewal and a sense of peace. At times I will leave my quiet sitting with an idea or thought that I believe never would have visited me had I not stayed still long enough to receive it.
Join us in The Living Room of The Essential Feminine when Camille Maurine and I explore ways that you can enrich your inner life and reach greater levels of success and satisfaction. We will be there on August 25th at noon Pacific Time. Be sure to register at: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/987535361 .

The webinars that we have been hosting   in The Living Room at The Essential Feminine™ Company have been looking at influence and success from the Feminine Perspective.  Influence and success are powerful qualities that women now need to confidently develop in order to have the voice and capability to contribute to the decisions that are critical in our world today.
When women gain a clear understanding that they hold natural attributes such as the ability to collaborate, care for others, the ability to build relationships, and the ability to work well with ambiguity – to name a few attributes of the feminine—we will move more confidently into the world. Our ability to use our voice and our natural gifts will make a major differencing the direction that the world is now going in. Never before has there been a more critical time for women to become comfortable with influence and success. On December 2 and December 9 we will be moving to the next two webinars entitled Living with Influence and Success from the Feminine Perspective. During these events we will be focusing on what women need in order to develop these skills and how to create the incoming new year with greater confidence clarity and success. Contact us at info@theessentialfemininecompany.com for more details.

“An aim in life is the only fortune worth finding; and it is not to be found in a foreign land, but in the heart itself.†Robert Louis Stevenson I guess I’ve always been pretty clear about why I’m here. My journey began years back at seventeen years of age when I chose to study human services and community organization. My heart has always been with people. My dream has always been to be a part of maximizing human potential in every possible way. I have dedicated my life to this aim. However, each day and each year of my life sure as to what the best way for me to achieve this aim would be. But I always kept the question alive. I am convinced that the answer does lie in our heart, not in a foreign land, and it’s our personal responsibility to embark upon that exploration. As I’ve written many times, I believe each of us is here for a very specific purpose that no one else could fulfill. Some days the clarity of that purpose feels very far away, but we owe it to ourselves to stay conscious and inquisitive. You are a very special part of a whole. Without you, things would be very different. “What is your aim?†“Can you look in your heart and trust that the answer is to be found there?â€

“ I had been raised to assume all power was outside myself, but they (men) had been raised to place power almost nowhere but within themselves. Often, they were suffering, too. Just as the fantasy of no control was the enemy of my self-esteem, the fantasy of total control was the enemy of theirs. For both of us, the goal should have been a point of balance in between: a back-and-forth between the self and others, uniqueness and unity, the planned and the accidental, our internal selves and the universe. As wise women and men in every culture tell us: the art of life is not controlling what happens to us, but using what happens to us.â€
Gloria Steinem “Revolution From Withinâ€
When we think about our influence and our sense of self, the idea of power becomes a central theme. Women have been a part of cultures that place power over her, as opposed to power with or next to her, for far too long. We need to realize that only if we recognize and claim it will our personal power becomes truly enlivened in our lives. This sense of strength manifests through our competence, our voice and our excitement towards living. Use your past experiences to guide your strength going forward. Never be victim to the challenging days that have passed but as Gloria says, use them to your benefit and advantage today.Â
